By converting to a T-style steering layout, it eliminates the unpredictable toe change of the original Y-style design, without introducing bump steer like crossover systems can.

Built for serious strength, this kit features 1.5" USA-made DOM tubing and Synergy’s proven heavy duty tie rod ends with an updated single plane tie rod end—designed specifically to prevent tie rod flop and maintain a tight, responsive steering feel. For maximum performance, the complete kit is available with an optional Synergy Tuned Fox IFP steering stabilizer. Note: This steering kit will only work on solid axle Ram 1500 4x4's

• Fabricated clamp designed to retain the factory stabilizer, one of our recommended FOX Stabilizers, or other aftermarket stabilizers with 1/2" mounting bolts

• Synergy metal on metal, fully greaseable tie rod ends include a 4140 steel shank, a 1018 steel bearing housing, and capped with a heavy duty nitrile-butadiene rubber boot and retaining spring

• Important fitment note: If you have an upgraded PSC Steering Box part number SG851 you will need to order part number 4133-L for the pitman arm end of the drag link
• Part update note: New single plane tie rod ends now included with all 1994 - present tie rods - part number 4169-L
  • New single plane tie rod ends are not compatible with the metal misalignment caps - part number 4134-02 
  • If upgrading to the new single plane tie rod end on older model tie rods for these model years, the opposing tie rod end will require a new poly boot part number 4131-01
  • If the cotter pin does not engage the castle nut upon install, a washer is required; Washer may not be required on all knuckles depending on casting differences and wear
• Compatible with Ram 3500 4x4 Cab and Chassis models of the same generation 
• Not compatible with 4500 / 5500 models
• Known compatibility with the following diff covers: Mag Hitec 
• Recommended Fox Steering Stabilizers:
  • IFP - Internal Floating Piston (6401-01)
  • TS - Through Shaft (6402-03)
  • ATS - Adjustable Through Shaft (6403-03)
• For 1998-1999 trucks that originally came with T-Style Steering (where the tie rod connects to both knuckles) must use the pitman arm from 1994-1997 trucks
